Detective chief superintendent Jasmin Sayed is heading up the newly founded project "Department for Nautic Crime 1 of the Water Police Berlin", short WaPo Berlin, which was recently initiated by police commissioner Alexandra Falkenbach. Jasmin Sayed has put together the ideal team: First, there is Paula Sprenger, a Berlin original and child-hood friend of Sayed. Wolf Malletzke, captain of the "Sil-bermöwe", the calm centre and most senior officer of the team. Fahri Celik, the young gun, always full of energy and high spirits. And, completing the unit, detective appli-cant Marlene Weber. Further supporting roles go to Ger-man capitol Berlin and Stulle, a drug-sniffing dog in re-tirement that has claimed his spot under the wheel of the "Silbermöwe“. But as motley as this crew may be, they are undefeatable and stick together. The grand inauguration of the pilot project "Water Police Department One Berlin", or WaPo for short, has only just begun, when the first call to action interrupts the speech of Police President Alexandra Falkenbach. The new team under Detective Chief Superintendent Jasmin Sayed is called out to Wannsee, where a drowned corpse has been discovered. At almost the same time, a very important exhibit is stolen from Berlin Cathedral on the banks of the River Spree. Is there a connection between the two cases? The entire WaPo team, which has yet to prove its worth as a convincing, criminological unit, investigate in all directions, until it finally comes across a lead that is connected with the past...
